RGB Balance equivalent in FCPX
Something (one of many) things I miss from FCP7 in X is the RGB Balance filter.
It used to be a great little tool, because it allowed you to fairly precisely alter the R, G and B colour ranges in the high/mid/lows of an image with minimum amounts of fuss.
So far I haven’t found the equivalent in FCPX. The Colour Board is OK for making your initial adjustments and even setting the overall colour tone of the image, but sometimes I think it would be useful to have this simple little filter back just to make little adjustments that make a big difference to the final image.
Does anyone have any recommendations for plug-ins that can be purchased that replicate this tool I’m familiar with from FCP7, or maybe suggest alternatives built in to FCPX?

If you have Motion 5, open it up and choose Final Cut Effect from the template browser.
Go to library/filters and find Color Balance (I think that’s the one). Apply it to Effect Source in the timeline.
Once you save it, it will be available as a filter in FCPX.
