    Revolving 3d texts effects

    Hi guys,

    Can someone please help me on how to achieve a revolving 3d text like in the trailer of Prince Caspian. It’s seen at 0:17-0:19, and 0:20-0:24, where individual golden texts seem to revolve slightly before facing the camera.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!

    You need to do it in a 3D program or buy a 3D plug-in for After Effects. After Effects is a 2.5D program, meaning you can position comps in 3D space, but they are flat rectangles without depth.
