Revert to a previous operating system
I’ve mistakenly put 10.4.9 update on a machine running Final Cut Pro HD 4.5. Ever since making the upgrade on the os, I’ve had tons of dropped frames. I’ve read this is fairly common and Apple recomends against making the 10.4.9 upgrade while using Final Cut 4.5. Unfortunately I didn’t look before I lept. Can someone tell me how (if at all) to revert back to a previous os?

Install from the disc that came with your computer, do an Archive and Install (if you have the space this would be ideal, you can choose to preserve your users/settings) or an Erase and Install (erases your old system folder and installs a totally new one).
From there you could update using a combined installer from Apple’s downloads section to 10.4.8 (or whatever version you like).
