December 28, 2018 at 8:30 am[Romano Vargas] “Will this create like a sort of “continuous rolling” effect?”
Not truly understanding what you mean. My best advise would be to get going with my suggestions and try them out.
[Romano Vargas] ” but I need it to “roll” over and over for about a second before slowing down. If not, is there possibly any way to do that using the transition progress/some other method?”
Again, see my previous reply.
[Romano Vargas] “Also, is there a way to motion blur the transition as well?”
Well, you could apply a Motion Blur to the Video Master Track, but that would bring your PC to its knees. From my exprience the advise i’d give would be to ADD additional FX-ing one step at a time by producing intermediary Renders. So,
1) Get your initial PUSH/Rolling done.
2) Apply the Timing you want.
3) Using the NESTING Option do Motion Blur in a PARENT Veg.You’re wanting to do too much as a one-shot solution – this could, no, WILL lead to Madness, Penury, Divorce and a distrust of Mankind in general.

December 28, 2018 at 10:05 amI’ve tried the method you suggested, and it doesn’t seem to have the sort of “rolling” I’m trying to achieve. I’ve created a quick video to provide a sort of example of what I’m talking about!
The first part is what I tried back when I was using the TV Simulator to get my effect, and the second part is what you’ve suggested. It seems that the TV Simulator gets me the closest to my desired effect, but there’s still the issue with the direction it moves so I’m hoping that there is some kind of Transition to get me there instead. Some kind of effect/transition that is able to hold that “rolling” motion for whatever length.
As for the motion blur, I will try what you have suggested as well afterwards! ☺ You’re right, doing it all at once would most definitely drive me absolutely up the wall.

Hi Romano, I’m not seeing your “Sample” – would be good to see exactly what you’re trying to achieve.

December 29, 2018 at 4:38 amOh, that’s weird. I don’t know why it did that. Here it is again from a different site:

December 29, 2018 at 5:46 amI’ve watched your Sample three times now, but as it is so rapid I can’t add any further suggestions. Maybe others can assist, I’m out of ideas.

December 29, 2018 at 6:17 amThe effect looks very similar to the roll transition from new blue fx. Made this using it.

If that’s kind of what you want and you don’t mind paying you can get it here

December 30, 2018 at 5:21 amOh, yes that’s exactly what I’m looking for! I don’t know if I’d be able to pay that price at the moment for these, but thank you for showing that to me! I will look into it.
