June 25, 2011 at 6:59 pmYes, Compressor can do this.
Things that can go wrong is that compressor isn’t setup correctly.
Make sure the frame rate is set to 23.976, and that compressor is seeing the footage as lower.
How long is the file?

June 26, 2011 at 11:17 am[Jeremy Garchow] “f so, make sure to single click on the clip thumbnail of compressor and in the a/v properties tab (I think that’s what it’s called, not by the computer) make sure that your source clip has a field Dom of lower”
Just jumping in, 24p has no field order, so why mark as lower?
Cheers

June 26, 2011 at 1:07 pmIt’s 24p recorded to tape which is 29.97. So it’s 24p with pilldown that needs to be removed.
