reverse shatter
I am trying to get a live action movie clip to have a reverse shatter effect applied, and I can’t seem to figure out which of the paramaters control the ‘explosion’, so I can manipulate it.
In other words, have the pieces fly in from off screen and magically come together. Any thoughts?? THanks! -

it doesn’t work in reverse, but you can take your shatter comp into another comp (or precomp your shatter layer if it is in another comp), then apply layer>time>time-reverse to make it run in reverse.
