    So haven’t found this in the manual. Can you change the reveal in finder command to reveal the original file and not the referenced file in the Final Cut Events folder? I have my Events set-up to reference the original material and not copy into the Events folder since I have many projects organized in their own respective folders and don’t want to move everything.

    Just curious if anyone has a workaround for this yet besides manually searching for the clip.

    Hey Tony,

    I’m able to find the original clip by first using “reveal in finder” in FCPX, then control clicking to “show original” from the sim link in the finder. I don’t think there’s a single button from FCPX though. Hope this helps.
