Returning or selling AppStore Version

I read somwhere in th bm forum that dongles are good for ver 14. After that there will ve a way to transfer from dongle to registration. Apple users are lucky think of the many thousands of pc users that paid 1000.00.

A couple of month ago i was going to pay 450.00 for dongle in ebay. Glad i didnt.

You could maybe sellit in ebay for a hundred or so dollars somebody will find it better than paying 300.00 for r14.

First of all I spoke with BM: all dongles will keep working with the new DaVinci.
Unfortunately, you cannot sell the AppStore version, which is a true Bummer:
PC people, if they bought a Dongle still have the option to sell it one day, even if now very cheap.
In my case I have to buy a Dongle version for getting around the AppStore’s OpenCL limitations,
So I’m stuck with two versions of the software.
Big waste of money.

Apple offered some movie rentals as compensation, but that hardly matches the loss of 500.-$.

I think BM lowered the price to 299 just to help you out here ; )

Nevertheless, Apple could have sorted this out better.
