Resume problem in Encore DVD 2.0
Hi, anyone experiences with this problem?
When you enter the menu while playing a movie, you can use RESUME function back to previous position without problem.
However, if you jump from the first menu to any other menu (such as from Main Menu to Audio Setup Menu) you can’t do RESUME function at this point. The action after pressing RESUME button is nothing.
This problem never occurred in version 1.5.Thanks for any advice,

If you are testing this using Encore’s preview, then there’s no need to worry. Encore’s preview won’t respond properly to the Resume function.
Burn an RW disc as a test, and then try the Resume button on a hardware or software DVD player. Everything should work as you expect.
The playback engine for Encore was changed between Encore 1.5 and 2.0.

You are rigth. After burning disc, everything works fine including menu swapping using Auto Activate which is flashy and poor response in Preview mode of V2.
I know it may not smooth in Preview mode but never know it may not function at all.
Adobe should mention this clearly. You know we can’t often burn a DVD to check project especially when we do it in class. People expected that a newer version should not only have more features but also more performance.Anyway, thanks again for your advice.
