Restoring/Opening project from backup
Hey guys,
A while back I had an unfortunate incident involving my laptop and 2.25L of Coca Cola.
I had all my files backed up to a HD.
I now have a new PC with Adobe Prem Pro CS5.5.
I would like to open an existing project on my new PC. The video files are all saved in one place on a portable HD. When I open the project file and direct APP to where the files are located, everything seems to load but my project doesn’t seem to show any of the work I’d done. Specifically, I’d spent a lot of time cutting up footage and arranging the clips into different bins. None of these bins exist and no footage appears to have been edited.
I’m assuming I need to, or at least could, restore some files from the Backup of my old PC and place them somewhere in my new computer that could help solve this problem. Could anyone tell me which files I should be aiming to restore and where abouts I should be placing them on my new PC?

Sequences and bins are saved in the project file. Are you sure you’re opening the latest version?
Perhaps you’ve got the Premiere project panel showing an empty bin? If there’s a folder with an up arrow in it at the top of the project panel, click the arrow and back up through the folder hierarchy.
