Restore Vegas 9 Screen Defaults
Hi again,
I suddenly have troubles. The default “screen” was: the Timeline across the entire bottom third of the screen, Video Preview and Project Media on Right and left, and tabs for other functions, e.g. Generated Media (again, jostling each other across the top 2/3rds.) Suddenly each of the above functions seems to want to take up the entire top portion, above the timeline, once its tab is clicked. They can be moved but then snap into place. Worse, if one clicks anywhere on the Timeline, it immediately jumps and takes up the entire screen. For example, a setup with the timeline below, and the Video Preview above it, if one clicks to move the cursor, or even clicks the Play, the Timeline enlarges and completely blocks the Video Preview, and must be manually dragged down to a smaller size to reveal the Video Preview (which is playing all along.)
I cannot think that I did anything to cause this, except that once I did drag down the Video Preview window, to enlarge the picture as much as possible. This may have triggered the problem. Is there a way to get back to “defaults?” (Using the preferences-default did not work. Nor rebooting, etc.) Thank you
John
