Activity Forums Adobe Audition Restore Panel Defaults

A student in class seems to have closed all of his panels and somehow this became his default settings. I have been searching for a simple button to restore the defaults. I found a thread on an Adobe forum that details locating and deleting the audition_settings.xml file.

Please tell me there is a simple button instead.

    Did you find it?
Restore Default Workspace button under Setting menu, General tab
At least that’s where it is in version 1.5.

Thanks Steve. I just figured out where the workspace buttons were last night. In 2.0 it’s “Window>Workspace.” Then there is a menu including: Edit View, Multitrack view, CD view, Frequency space editing, Mastering and Analysis, Maximum Session (Dual Monitor), Maximum Waveform editing(Dual Monitor), Session Mixing, Video + Audio Session, and (finally) New Workspace, Delete Workspace, and Reset Current Workspace (this is the button I was looking for!!!)
