Restore old database
Hi, I have a problem restoring an older database on Resolve 11.1. When I choose Restore on the Database Manager and select the .backup file, theres first the step of creating a new database to restore to (Driver: QPSQL, the DISK option is grayed out) and then it asks to “please select the ‘bin’ directory in the PostgreSQL installation.” I don’t have the old database installation on my machine, that’s the reason I have made backups from my old database.
The database that I have on my system (Windows) is disk based.

See if you can create a new QPSQL database. This will see if you have PostgreSQL properly running on your system.
If you can’t create a QPSQL database, run the Resolve installer and see if it thinks PostgreSQL is already installed or not. If not, check the PostgreSQL box and install it.
