  Resolve to FCP – Renders legal values shift

  Hi there,

  We have a strange problem with our renders from Resolve.
  In Resolve:
  We have a 23,98 ProRes 422 HQ timeline colored, normally scaled legal video is checked everywhere.
  I don’t see any white exceed in the waveform display…

  In FCP:
  Once rendered and imported to FCP with the same settings (prores 422 HQ), my white exceed a little bit.

  If i reimport the rendered shot into Resolve, the waveform tell me that the white is okay…

  It’s a bit strange… is there a problem with the ProRes Codec, Final cut, or it’s just a Resolve settings?

  I’ve also tried an Uncompress 10-bit render wich was OK (no white exceed in FCP…) but I really need to render output to ProRes 422 HQ…
