Resolve to AVID conversion?
I have a simple sequence edited in FCPX and fought it to Resolve via XML. The idea is to use Resolve to translate the sequence to an AAF for importing it into AVID. The sequence contains some clips that have been retimed. All of the retimes are constant speed changes, no ramps.
When I open the resulting AAF in AVID Mediacomposer 6.x all the clips that have a retime on them have a filename “File:” attached to them. There is no way to relink to the original media there.Is there a solution to this? Is there another way of getting from FCPX to AVID?

Remove the retime, convert, add retime back in. Honestly, I’m amazed it’s worked as well as it sounds like it has.
