    Resolve requirements

    Looking to change over from FCP7 to Resolve (finally). Does anyone know the Software/OS/Hardware requirements for v.12.5? I’m on Mac platform machines and trying to determine if any of my current machines would be capable of running Resolve with reasonable speed and reliability.

    Tom,

    The software is free, and if you try to install it on a machine with the wrong version of OSX or hardware that’s not up to snuff the software will warn you.

    Resolve is a demanding program in terms of RAM speed, CPU power, GPU power (and RAM), and hard drive throughput.
