Resolve only recognizing audio when attempting to import footage from Canon R6
When attempting to import mp4 footage from the R 6, Davinci Resolve seems to only recognise the audio. originally thought this was a codec issue and purchased the HEVC codec extension from the Microsoft store, but no luck money down the drain and issue still not solved. the only solution is to transcode which is a very lengthily process and slows down my workflow immensely. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appricieated.

Do you have the free version or the Studio version? The free version
cannot import 10 bit HEVC codecs. It’s also a problem with Sony cameras
that shoot 10bit HEVC. Instead of buying codecs that Resolve doesn’t see just buy the Studio version. The latest features like AI transcoding/ subtitling and Magic Masks makes the Studio version a smart buy -
