    Hi everyone,

This is my first time working with the Alexa, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to create ProRes LT quicktimes for dailies with Arri’s Rec 709 LUT from Alexa ProRes 444 Log C footage with Resolve Lite.

If so, how feasible is it to have someone on set cranking these out?

    Thanks.

You can, but you’d lose any in-camera audio. Production mix is usually fed to the camera and some editorial houses require the production mix on their delivery specs.

Great, thank Illya. We are doing dual system sound with linked time code, so have no need for the camera sound… I was just worried about maintaining time code and reel/clip metadata.

    Thanks so much.

And even more important, you should add source TC and clip name to the image.
Nothing worse than a project without and edit assistant and no visual reference in the offline.

But yeah, audio in render is on my top priority list.
Please BM, make it happen soon.
