Resolve Lite 11.0.0 Not Opening

Unfortunately, a laptop is generally not a good choice for Resolve. Particularly a 5-year-old MacBook. I think a high-end desktop replacement can work if it’s got tons of RAM, a very powerful CPU, and good GPUs, but it’s going to be tough otherwise.

Resolve 11.0.0 is not opening.

My systems are:
MacBook Pro 2010 duo core 4GB ram
Mac Pro 2010 quad core 32GB ram

Version 12 only works with OSX 10.9 and above.
There appears to be no index of past versions available for download.
For some unfriendly reason it only appears to be on iTunes and only the newest release.

Does anyone know why its not opening, how to fix it, if old versions are available, and if not why?

Does anyone know why Resolve 11.0.0 would stop opening on 10.8.5?
Does anyone know why or where there is an index of versions. Is it a ‘planned obsolescence’ thing, or are previous installers available?

previous installers are available on the website.

When I checked they were still offering 10.1.5

If you email them, you might get access to earlier versions still.
