I was doing a test of DnxHd 1080p 36 8b renders from alexa 444 pro res log c footage. How do I open the mxf files after they are rendered? I tried to open them with a trial version of MC6 and I can’t open them. (probably because I am not an editor). I can open them in resolve just fine. I just want to send the editor nice colored dailies and make sure they work.

Are the rendered files in a numbered directory under the /AvidMediaFiles/MXF/(#folder) hierarchy? That is the only source link path that AVID will work with.

If there is a .mdb file inside the # (numbered) folder, drag that into a Media Composer bin. The media should import and you can drag all of those onto a new timeline.
