Resolve crashing on dvcpro hd 720p50 import from fcpx
Hi,
Has anyone experienced this as well:
0.Have a dvcpro hd 720p50 project in fcp7.
1.Export xml from fcp7
2.convert xml to fcpx.xml via 7toX
3.Import new xml into fcpx
4.Export fcpx.xml from fcpx
5.Open fcpx.xml in davinci resolve lite = resolve crashes!Resolve crashes instantly when I try opening the xml from fcpx with the dvcpro hd project.
If I import the fcp7 xml with the same 720p50 project in resolve, it works like a charm and resolve doesn’t crash upon opening the xml file from fcp7.
If I send a prores project via fcpx.xml to davinci resolve, there are no problems.
Am I possibly doing something wrong, or is dvcpro hd not supported in resolve via fcpx?

…As if by magic, Resolve 8.2.1 came out of beta today, which took care of the problem. I’m now able to import fcpx.xml of a dvcpro hd 720p project into Resolve 8.2.1 lite.
