Resolve comform question

I wonder if I could trouble someone with a quick Resolve question?
I have scene detected 5 reels of a feature film, cut them up and added them to 5 sepperate timelines.
Now, after grading is started, we found that I missed some cuts.
I am new to the version 8, but I remember that in version 7 you could only make cuts in the timeline, not in the master session.
Has this changed in version 8?
Is there some way to add a scene cut after sending the media to the master session? -

You only cut in the master session.
In the Timeline you are free to shorten a clip and insert a new FROM the master session.A slice of color…
