  • Resolve 16 Studio – Not all selected photos are imported

    Hi
I have in a folder 80 photos. I go to import media, select all of the photos but only a handful are imported!
I don’t want to select every single photo.
    What’s the solution?
    Many thanks
    Peter

There are probably unsupported files in the folder.

    Hi Tero
I looked closer at what was imported and it seems that photos with a contiguous number sequence are treated as a video. In other words all the photos were imported but not always as an individual photos. How do I import as individual stills and not a “video” sequence.
    Thanks
    Peter

    Hi
I have a work around. I have to use scene cut detection. Then I get the individual photos separate.
    Thanks
    Peter

Before you import the stills on the Media page, select ‘show individual frames’ and you can then select all and import. Click on the three dots … top right of the source folder screen to enable this option.

Because Resolve is designed to import image sequences as a single video it is the default. Best option is to not use numbers in your stills name so they all are seen as individual frames, not an image sequence.
