Resolve 10 Color Management
I just finished calibrating my Resolve display window with the newly incorporated Monitor Calibration feature. I calibrated with the US based software who’s name can’t be mentioned here without being blocked.
Anyway, after I plugged the 3D LUT.cube file generated by the calibration software into Resolve, the display matches my calibrated external monitor so well I’m blown away. With the ability to apply this LUT to my internal monitor, alone, and have the color scopes still display the uncorrected data, I’ve moved a step closer to perfection. Thanx, BMD, I’m very happy with this solution.

why would you be blocked? Was it Calman?

yeah…every time I write that name, my post is deleted with a message saying I’m not allowed to say that….go figure.

I don’t know why it happened, I don’t think so that they deleted it because you mentioned Calman.
Anyway have you followed the quick guide during calibration?Sadly I’m not able to calibrate it with Calman for Resolve.

yeah, I followed the guide published by Cal_man. BTW, I’ve had 3 separate posts deleted every time I mentioned them…oh well, go figure.
There’s a few nuances to the setup that aren’t mentioned in the quick guides. One has to “find” the C6 meter and the Blackmagic pattern generator before it will work.

I got it working but the result is not good. will contact support.
