    Hi,

Very pleased with Resolve 10 beta! Thanks to the team for all their hard work.

Was working last night, and noticed a couple things when using the Artist Color: contrast knob barely responds to input, and the square window position controls didn’t seem to work

And a feature request: mapping the RGB mixer control to the six knobs. I have become increasingly reliant on this tool for a wide range of functions. Would also be great to be able to toggle the preserve luminance function.

On the subject of toggling, would appreciate a quick way of toggling the gang functions for the curves, ysfx, soft clip, etc. I end up having to dig through the UI which slows me down.

Also, is there a published guide for the panel mapping?

Looking forward to the final release.

Basically you are complaining about the same behaviours of R9…
    Has there been any change?
Is the response faster, with less lag?
What version of EuControl are you using? I tried 3 and it was so bad I downgraded to 2.7

Using Eucon 3.0.1 and it feels responsive enough. No connection issues.

Mapping has been reworked and is mostly the same, save for a few things. Bank 1 and Bank 2 behave differently.

Are you using Maverick ? Because with maverik I’ve an issue with NAV and PAGE button. Previously, with OS X 10.8, everything was fine.

    Hi,
I’m having exactly the same problem.
Wheels are fine but the Nav and Page buttons have a lag of about 4 sec, making them impossible to use.

    Did you find a solution?

    Mavericks
    Artist Control 3.1
    Resolve 10.1.0lite.021

Yes, you have to turn off the nap option from eucontrol app.
I’m not in front of my Mac, but you have to right click on the eucontrol icon and disable nap option ( I don’t remember exactly the name)

    Hi,

I have encountered the same issue and finally got it solved. I’m running Mavericks 10.9.2, Eucontrol 3.1.2 and Resolve 10.1.2.

As Luca De Grandis suggests, it is the App Nap that is causing the problem.

And for those who run into this thread looking for a solution:

Normally, you can use Finder, navigate to EuControl and MC_Client, right click, click on “Get Info”, then check on the “Prevent App Nap” checkbox. This should solve the problem.

Strange thing is, I don’t have such a checkbox there. I do have them for other apps like Davinci Resolve. I had to open Terminal and run the command as below:

defaults write com.avid.eucontrol NSAppSleepDisabled -bool YES

Now everything seems to be ok.
