Help!
I’ve been importing TIFF files from Photoshop to Vegas to create a slideshow originating from Powerpoint slides at a business conference) as well as importing a TIFF background, again from Photoshop, which i’ve stretched along the timeline to make a continuous backgound on which the slides and film footage sit. On this background i’ve placed a company logo at reasonably high resolution as well as some text. All of this looks fine in Photoshop but the moment I import to Vegas the text gets hazy and looses some detail. Once it’s been rendered to Mpeg2 it’s even worse and bares little resemblence, in terms of clarity, to the original in Photoshop. The same issue exists with the imported TIFF slides that contain small text etc. I’m guessing that this is due to the comparitively low resolution that you need to be working with when producing films but what if the DVD i’m producing is designed with PC users in mind?
Am i going about this all the wrong way?
Should I be using different software altogether and not going down the DVD route?
Has anyone else tried anything like this?Help much appreciated.
Cheers
Chris.
