  • Resolution issue with an image in placeholder composition

I am having an issue with a resolution of imported image. It is all pixelated.

    This is the file:

I have exported video with a placeholder from c4d. Lumma matte for the image is also included. There is substantial scaling involved, so that might be reason. The goal I am trying to achieve is to have a mobile screen placeholder which can be replaced with an image. All is working fine except the resolution.

How would you fix this problem?

The scaling is the problem. You are effectively scaling the phone image up almost 300% with its 3D positioning. You should start with a larger image for the phone than the 125×222 image you have here, and scale it down to fit the phone if necessary. (Also, it looks like you might need to flip that image around; I think we’re looking at the back of the image in the comp you provided.)
