  • Resolution in precomped layers

    Hello,

I’m very new to AE and I’ve bumped onto a problem that I cannot solve by myself.

I have a comp with 2D layers in it. I use it in a different comp. I use a CC Sphere effect on it and made it 3D. Unfortunately it looks very pixelated even if the original resolution is quite high.

I’ve tried to play with Collapse Transformation switch with no luck.

Can somebody help me out please? How can I retain a good resolution of the precomped layer?

Please, see the project file attached.

I think, I’ve figured out the problem by myself. I believe that the resolution of my other comp (“room”) is too low. When I zoom in I see pixels. Thank you for your attention though.
