  Reshape Correspondence points not appearing

  I’ve got different versions of AE on my two machines. 5.5 on the desktop and 6.5 on the laptop, both pro.

  On my desktop, the reshape effect works fine but I don’t have access to keylight or some of the other handy tools from 6.5.

  On the laptop, when I try to create correspondence points, the pointer changes to the pen+ tool, but no points appear when I click and the tool basically locks to the pen+ for a few seconds.

  I’m doing everything the same on both machines but the laptop won’t seem to make the correspondence points, forcing a workflow break if I have to do half the effect on the desktop, then transfer to the laptop to finish it off.

  Anyone heard of this problem? (PC, XP Pro on both machines) or is my laptop the culprit?
