    I know, I have alot of avid comparison’s but…..

When finished with a sequence in Avid I can decompose the sequence with the video only(make copy of original, strip audio)so that the levels I used when digi’ing remain intact(I had to EQ alot of my stuff goin in and don’t want to have to do that again)on the audio side.

If I strip the audio from my sequence, will the Media manager still see the links to the audio of my clips and want to re-dig whole clip or will it see Video only which is what I want?

    TIA

If it is a V only sequence you create with media manager then it will create new clips based on the V only.

Create a new project with media manager that is Vonly (using create offline)

    Recapture that sequence

with both old and new projects open copy the audio from the old and paste into the new.
