Background; High, for some reason didn’t my macpro boot this morning, so I hade to reinstall it and save the old os as an backup. It was some issue with the latest “aja lhe” drivers (works to boot with to boot with 6.0 but not with 6.1).
After installing leopard and running all updates i still get a message every time i start up final cut or quicktime.

    Problem message:
“Required software extensions are missing. click on the ok button, and you will be transferred to the Pace webb site where an installer can be downloaded.”

The company is interlok and no one i know seems to ever heard of them so i dont trust them. I have never got this message and i have been on mac for 2 years now.

Pace is a company that manufactures an anti-piracy product that is used in conjunction with a USB key (ilok). See http://www.paceap.com for details. I had to use it for my ProTools DAW. Some of the plug-ins used this security method to authorize before I could use them.
