We use a field named CLIENT for all of our assets that indicates who the media is attached to. Is it possible to create a simple report that shows all the unique names in the client field (but only one view per client)?

If you have the CatDV Worker Node you can use the catdv command line tool with the -distinct or -summarise options to display all the values of your CLIENT field, together with the number of assets belonging to each client.

    Rolf,

Thanks for your help. After looking at https://www.squarebox.com/worker-command-line-interface/# I tried using the command line however it isn’t working for me. See screen cap below. Can you point me in the right direction?

Sorry man, Rolf will have to help, I’m more Linux, OSX.

But know that you generally have to add the “catdv” app to your shell or call the explicit path. (Not sure how that works on Windows.)

Do not quote me on any of this, others on the NSA team handle the Win side. lol

That’s a path issue. Either edit your PATH environment variable or provide the full path, eg.

    C:\Program Files\Square Box\CatDV Worker 6.1\catdv.exe -help
