i’ve got a fairly complicated city file, 50 or so textures. i’d like to replace them all with one texture. is there an easy way to do this?

Delete all texture tags, group all objects under a Null object and asign your texture to that Null object.

Or select the materials to be swapped in the MaterialManager. Then in MM go Function > SelectTextureTags/Objects.
In AM drag in the new material to be used.

    Cheers

Or… Object Manager>Objects>Search>Tags>Texture Tags. Then drag the new material into the texture link box in the Attributes Manager.

1 – Right click on the current material being used in the materials bar
2 – Click ‘Select Texture Tags/Objects’ (they should highlight on the objects being used)
3 – Right Click on the new texture you wish to replace with and choose ‘Apply’
4 – The new textures should be hierarchically above the old texture.
5 – Right click on the old material being used in the materials bar and re-select
6 – Click Delete, this will remove them all from the objects they are on…

Adam’s method seems more universal. The action path he listed needs updating though.

    1. Select old material in Material Manager.
    2. Right click and choose Select Texture Tags/Objects
    3. Drag new texture from MM into Material field of Attribute Manager.
    4. If necessary, delete old material.
