    hi,

can anyone suggest a quick way of replacing a comp when the two comps aren’t the same size?
the bottom-right corners match up, but apart from that they’re odd sizes, not neat like 1/4 or 1/8 or 1/3.

do i just have to get out my calculators and replace, then compensate by shifting the anchor point etc?
apologies if this is a silly q, i have been doing some very late nights and my brain is just about fried.

If I understand right you have a Main Comp which contains a precomp (lets call it Precomp 1). You want to replace Precomp 1 with Precomp 2, which is a different size to precomp 1.

I’d create a new comp, Precomp 3, which is the same size as precomp 1. Place Precomp 2 in Precomp 3 and resize to fill the comp. Now replace Precomp 1 in the Main Comp with Precomp 3.
