Replacing 1 1024 X 576 clip with a 1980 X1020 clip
Hi,
Im in a bit of a fix and im really hoping someone can sort my issue. So, im editing the making of segment for a film. Im working on a 1440 X 1080 timeline with interview clips at the same frame size. As cutaways im using actual footage from the film. I started the edit with a watermarked version of the film while i was waiting on the final high res version to come through. I thought that i would sync the 2 versions lenghtwise and just reconnect the media to the final high res version. In theory and technically that has worked beautifully. The only issue is that the watermarked version of the film that i used was 1024 X 576 in frame size and the final high res version of the film is 1980 X 1020. When i replace the clips in the FCP timeline, the 1980 X 1080 clips don’t get resized according to the sequence settings. Is there a way around this?

Pick a clip (or multiple clips)
Select Modify -> Conform to Sequence
