Replace/Swap Audio in mp4 Video with Quicktime Pro
Hi guys,
I’m a sound designer and I created a audio animation video with after effects, that I want to then upload to youtube.
I rendered it out lossless in a .mov file.
I used Sorenson Squeeze to convert it into a .mp4 file. That was quite time consuming.
Now ☺ I want to change the audio file because I wasn’t happy with the audio mix…I read this article here
https://www.premiumbeat.com/blog/replace-audio-in-quick-time-pro-7/I really want to double check with you experts if I really don’t loose any of my video or audio quality if I do it if it’s explained there.
1. Load the mp4 file with quicktime pro
2. ctrl + J and delete the audio file
3. open the new audio file with quicktime and select all with ctrl + a
4. switch to the mp4 window and paste the new audio file in with ctrl + v
5. now, just save as .mp4Is this really that easy? would be great ☺
just to make sure: my audio specs are
mp3
320kb
48Hz!!
Stereo (joint???) or just Stereo ?
I guess I can use the Lame ConverterWould be great to hear an expert on this! I don’t want to loose either video nor audio quality!
Thanks for your help!
