Is there a quick way to replace one image in the timeline with another? I know you can go through and reconnect media, but I love how After Effects lets you alt, click drag footage to replace something you already have in the timeline.. any such love in FCP?

    thanks!

It’s called a replace edit. You use the replace edit overlay or F11. You can read about how it works in the manual or any good book on Final Cut

    All the best,
