    ‘Replace’ feature help, please.

    Hi,

    Please bear with a Motion newbie here.

    When I was practicing on the Motion Templates, I managed to replace the “Replace 1” place-holders with my own images, etc.

    Now I’m building a sequence using the “Video Wall NTSC” replicator.
    It has a place-holder image, but I can’t seem to repace the ‘Replace 1’ with my own footage.

    Any leads would be helpful.

    Peter Wiggins gave a great answer over at KenStone.net

    Wayne,

    Open the media tab (Apple 5)
    highlight the media you want to change
    Open the dashboard if you can’t see it already (F7)

    Click on Replace media file on dashboard

    Navigate to your new media file, you might have to uncheck ‘matching name’
    select file & click open

    New media file should be in timeline.
