Replace event (not media file)?
Hi.
Is it possible to replace an event with another identical-length event (keeping track/pan keyframes, opacity/volume envelopes, effects, etc. intact)?
I had a small trimmed section of a very long clip to which I’d applied some rotation keyframes and color correction nodes. I decided to prestabilize that clip outside of Vegas and would like to swap out the old event with the new one (but for obvious reasons cannot use “replace media file”).
Using Movie Studio Platinum 9.

Yes. Drag the new clip over the event while holding down the right mouse button. When you release the mouse, select Add as Take and a new take will be added to the event. You can then use the T key to toggle through the takes. You can even right-click the event and remove the takes you don’t want.
