  • replace clip with another that has matching time codes?

still trying to solve my audio sync issues.

is there an edit technique that lets me replace a clip in the timeline with a compound clips (exact same clip but i’ve added synched audio track) based on the time code?

basically a way to preserve the in and out points, and just select identical ones in the new event clip?

    thanks

The only thing I can think of would be to turn each clip in the timeline into a compound clip then sync those new virtual clips with the audio, then cut up and reassemble. Mighty time consuming and I’d be ready to jump off a bulding by the end but it’d work if there was no other option.
