    Hey all,

I’m having a weird issue with replacing a clip in my timeline.

I’ve put a selects sequence into my source monitor and selected an in point. When I option-drag from the source monitor and onto the clip I want to replace, instead of replacing the clip in the timeline with the source CLIP, it replaces it with an in-out of the sequence itself…acting like a nest.

Any reason why this is happening? I’m questioning my sanity, but I’m almost certain I’ve done this plentyyy of times in the past with no issues.

Sounds like it’s acting the way I’d expect. You may want to try Pancake Editing instead. Drag from timeline to timeline.
