replace a filter in sequence
Hi,
I am about to lay to tape a 48min sequence for a tv show and I used the broadcast safe filter on all clips but I used the conservative settings instead o fthe extremely conservative setting.
Is ther a way to replace all occurence of the broadcast safe filter by another extremely conservative version?

Highlight all the clips with the current filter and control-click or right click on it and select REMOVE ATTRIBUTES…FILTERS. Hmmm…but if you have other filters on them, it will yank those too. If some clips have multiple, then you’ll have to do them manually…one at a time.
Select the clip with the Ultra conservative clip, hit APPLE-C.
Highlight all the clips you want to add that to and hit OPT-V…select FILTERS.

For future reference:
If you want to apply a single filter on all clips, you can also nest all the clips, then apply the broadcast safe filter onto that.
This gives you the flexibility of having a single filter setting globally control the entire timeline.
Just in case, you might want to do this on a duplicate of the sequence. Nesting can be rather tricky at first.
