    Hi y’all.

My repeater function has NEVER worked correctly, specifically when rotation is involved. I have never been able to make a repeater grid. I’ve searched every forum response, and never seen something that solved my problem.

I have made new comps, set everything with anchor points to default, set anchor points to center, aligned everything, etc. It has never worked. I’m past wit’s end. Does anyone have any knowledge that might help? Auto-center anchor points or something? I can’t figure this out and it’s fucked me over on so many projects.

If it is a custom Path, then it is indeed tricky. Do you have the same problem if you start from a parametric rectangle or circle path ?
Make sure you draw or transfrom/move the points of the Path around the default anchorPoint instead of moving the anchorpoint.

first of all, theres an easy way to get the correct angle transformation for your repeater. Take the degree on a circle you want your result to have( so for a full round 360°) and divide it by the number of copies (in your case 6, so 60°). After that, since this seems to be a custom path as Filip already pointed out, you just have to try manipulating the anchor point of the repeater, not the shape or layer itself. Its not that complicated and Im shure you will quickly get the desired result 🙂
