    Hi,

I’ve got some video footage which I’ve made 50% of it’s original size.

I know want it to repeat (with a gap between each image) 100’s of time in either direction on the horizontal.

Like the repeater on 3d stroke – but for video.

    Is there an effect?

    Cheers,
    Henry

Try effect>stylize>Motion Tile. You might want to then apply effect>distort>offset, but it depends on the effect you want.

It’s going to be a rather huge layer by the time you’re done. I hope you have sufficient RAM to get it done.

As Steve said, Motion Tile should do the trick for you. Particle Playground’s Grid also does this sort of thing efficiently – but with 100’s?

Thanks very much – used motion tile.

I hate asking (it’s like spoiling the end of a movie) but I am in a hurry!

    Many thanks.

If you do run out of RAM during the render, access the “Secret” prefs and therein, purge every 5 frames (suggested) during Make Movie.

To get there, hold down shift when accessing the prefs from the menu, and hold down the shift key until the prefs dialog shows up.
