rented a Panasonic AJ-HD1200A it won’t allow me to insert edit?
I am on a system using Final Cut Pro 5.0.4, Kona2 running Kona control panel 1.2.1, system software 10.4.5. I have talked to AJA and Apple and they both say you can’t insert edit onto the deck. You can assemble edit, but that won’t help my situation.
Does anybody know what deck I can rent that will work, and a website that can show me the proper set up for the new deck.

I believe it’s the 1700 deck that can do the insert.
that’s correct that the 1200A is assemble only.
