Rendering & compressing Canon 5D footage in FCS is taking over 24hrs for 15mins – what codec/settings would cut time but retain resolution?

Transcoding to ProRes422 seems to be what FCS likes to work with best. Of course, how much horsepower your computer has will have the biggest impact on render times, but 24 hours for 15 minutes of footage seems like too much, even with multiple filters and correction applied.

Thanks, yes I agree, way too long, my computer copes with HD fine under normal circumstances. I do have a filter on but I’ll change to prores and see if it makes a substantial difference.
