rendering WMV
I just rendered a mp4 and it was fine.
(I render each week a hi mp4 and a low wmv version of the video)
My problem is
When I did the render for wmv. It started OK then the background
dropped out (was left with my subject and the greenscreen) and then the background came up
in the preview window with no subject. I don’t know what happen.
I am now rendering a background without my lecture host.
Does anyone have an idea why. -

I render greenscreen files to mp4 and wmv all the time and have never seen this problem. Has it done it with more than one project?
Is it posible you may have accidently added some keyframes to the chromakey effect for that project? -

A bug? Since your WMV is low quality, just render it from the hi quality MP4 file.

This forum has help me so much. I read all the post for Vegas
everyday it sure helps me to be somewhat independent.

Are you still going to do a chroma TV (Boris)? -
This has not ever happen don’t know why. I am not that experience
so when it happens I am lost. I am doing what John recommended.
That will really save time and I’ll be on time with this.
