  • rendering + track motion = ???

Posted by Brian Cheney on December 29, 2007 at 1:50 am

ok, so i have Sony Vegas 7.0, and im trying to render a video i put together…

in the video, i have a picture that i copied over from photoshop, i placed it in its own video track, and edited the track motion to get the picture to move around….

but when i render the video, it seems to ignore the track motion, and placed the picture in the center of the screen….how do i stop this?

    any help?

    -much appreciated

To be honest, we’d need to see the VEG file in order to diagnose what might have gone wrong.

Without seeing the veg file, I’ll take a guess and say perhaps the keyframes don’t start and end at the beginning and end of your render area.

    Hi
Yes, Definately check what Charles said above. Make sure your key-frames are at the right spot that you want them. The timecode of the keyframes in track motion or event pan/crop should match the timecode on the timeline.

Also right click on a keyframe and see what kind of keyframe you got there. There’s a lot of different motion choices for keyframes. Make sure you checked the type you wanted.

    Happy New Year.
