Rendering to GoPro-Cineform Decoder – 2
I am new to vegas and to cineform. I am learning as I go. My editor is Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.I read cineform is a better codec to play in NLEs.
I also installed GoPro Studio 2.5.6 to start using GoPro-Cineform Decoder – 2.
I am trying to render a project 720 x 480 with the pixel AR at 1.2121 into an avi container, and encoded in cineform. The original file is also an avi container but encoded with Huffyuv codec.
After rendering, the file resolution changes to 360 x 240 9:5, 1:8:1
If I render in a mov container, the file outputs correctly at 720 x 480. I did few other tests in virtualDub but ended up with the same issue too. It outputs the file to 360 x 240.Anyone knows the steps to render in cineform in Vegas into a NTSC DV 720×480 in an avi container?
Thanks!

Edit
Seems I am using the wrong media player, which was Windows Media player.Switched to QuickTime and the video inspector display 720 x 480
Mediainfo displayed the same info too.Is Quicktime the best player to play cineform files?
