    Hello guys,

i have the problem that whenever i try to render a music video that ain’t longer than 5 minutes, it takes about 9-12 hours, i use low effects for the video and it still won’t go any quicker for me.

My comp has 8gb ram, w7 with service pack 1, around 70gb free space.

    Settings are:

Framerate: 29,97 for youtube, also tried 25 before.
I tried AVI without codecs, Quicktime with mp4(H264)+ AAC and Quicktime with Animation + AAC.

If you need more infos, tell me.

I hope someone can help me out there.^^

What’s your processor? How many layers do you have? Do you have any 3D-layers/lights/motion blur/precomps? What do you mean by “low effects”? What format is the original footage in?

[Marco Kohlmann] “Framerate: 29,97 for youtube, also tried 25 before.”

Do you know what you’re doing?

    AMD FX(tm) 8120 Eight core 3,1 ghz
    I use 5 layers in total…
With low effects i meant that i dont use many effects in my video.
Format is 1920×1080 or did you mean something else?

I heard that are the best framerates for youtube videos.

If your video is for YouTube, you should export at the original frame rate… What effects specifically did you use? Rendering time varies dramatically based on this. It may be perfectly normal for a 5 minute video to take this long on a computer with your specs.

i’ll try on CC 14 then, but would it change the result? i mean why would it work with same settings on CC 14 but not on CC 15?

i just tried something new and it kinda made it better, but still takes around 2,5h.
Only things that i changed are using the “region of interest” which shortened the screenpicture to 850×484 instead of the 1950×1080, also used quicktime + animation. Problem is, i don’t wanna cut out more of the screen 😀
